Many people are unaware that heart attack symptoms in women can be quite different from men. Some symptoms of heart diseases may begin in a women month before a heart attack. Women have a higher risk of dying from a heart disease than men do. In many cases, that’s because they don’t realize they are having a heart disease and take too long to get help.
First Warning Signs of Heart Attack could be Exhaustion and shortness of breath. If you often feel tired or exhausted for no reason, it could be a sign that something is wrong. Fatigue and shortness of breath are more common in women and may begin months before a heart attack.
Shortness of breath has many different causes. For example, heart disease can cause breathlessness if your heart is unable to pump enough blood to supply oxygen to your body. If your brain, muscles or other body organs do not get enough oxygen, a sense of breathlessness may occur.
Breathing difficulty may also be due to problems with the lungs, airways or other health problems.

Pumping blood through clogged arteries takes more effort from your heart, so your body will sweat more to try to keep your body temperature down during the extra exertion.
Chest tightness is another sign of a heart attack. People have described this sensation as feeling like an elephant is standing on their chest. The chest pain you will feel with angina because there isn’t enough blood flowing to part of your heart and it’s caused when something blocks the arteries that bring oxygen-rich blood to your heart.
