REASON WHY YOU SHOULD NEVER KEEP YOUR EGGS IN THE REFRIGERATOR – SOMETHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

Eggs are part of the breakfast of many people all around the world. They are probably the number one choice for breakfast because they are simple and easy to prepare. Besides being easy to cook, they are rich in nutrients and provide various health benefits. If you want to stay full longer you should eat 2-3 or more eggs for breakfast. To preserve the health benefits and nutritious value of the eggs you should keep the refrigerated.
However, it has been discussed on several forums whether eggs should be refrigerated or not.
In some parts of the world such as Japan, North America and Australia keeping eggs in the fridge is not considered unusual.
People who eat eggs that were not kept in the fridge expose themselves to the risk of food poisoning caused by salmonella.
The in vitro insertion of these bacteria in eggs is much more successful if the eggs are kept at room temperature according to the Journal of Food Protection.
However, the National Public Radio claims that eggs should not be kept in the fridge. Chickens in Europe are being vaccinated against salmonella, and in the USA there are other ways of protecting from these bacteria such as inspections, washing and tracking eggs from the supplier to the store.
Marianne Gravely, who is a technical information specialist at the Food Safety and Inspection Service, claims that eggs should not be kept at a room temperature longer than 2 hours. Also, she mentioned that it is not possible to see whether a chicken has salmonella infection or not which means that any egg can contain this bacterium. You can’t detect food poisoning bacteria before eating a food because it does not affect its smell, appearance or taste.
This is why it is very important to be always aware of the food you consume and the way you store it. This way you will be able to protect yourself from bacteria that cause food poisoning.
